Hope Capital Property Finance has doubled the number of loans its loan support specialists can manage, after bringing in software from lending technology provider Kennek.

The Liverpool-based lender has used the platform to simplify its loan administration. One of the most visible changes is that redemption statements are now produced instantly. Brokers and borrowers get their figures faster, which helps them plan repayments and next steps.

Better oversight, less admin

Alongside the speed gains, the software provides a full audit trail and clearer oversight of loan activity. That supports consistent record-keeping and gives the team more visibility across the whole loan management process.

Our loan support specialists can now manage twice as many loans.

Jemma Wood, Director of Portfolio, Asset and Risk at Hope Capital Property Finance, said the lender's investment in technology is about giving its people the tools to deliver better service. She said the team now spends less time on administration and more time talking to brokers and borrowers. She described near-instant redemption statements as a practical example of that difference.

Wood added that Kennek's understanding of Hope's business has helped it make improvements that support both its growth and the personal service brokers value.

Growth without losing the personal touch

Kennek founder Thibault Lancksweert said Hope has a clear ambition to grow while keeping the personal service it is known for. He said it had been rewarding to work with a team focused on using technology to make practical improvements, and that the jump in loan capacity shows what that approach can deliver.

The partnership will also be on show at the Finance Professional Show. Kennek will join Hope there as its "pilsner partner" for the launch of the lender's newest craft beer, The Drawdown Draft.
