Specialist lender Roma Finance has announced a round of internal promotions, led by Gaynor Doran moving up from Head of People to People Director.

Doran joined Roma in February. The promotion recognises the impact she has made in a short time and her growing role in shaping the company's culture. In her new role, she will continue to lead Roma's people strategy, helping the business grow while ensuring it can attract, retain, and develop talent.

Gaynor's promotion to People Director is thoroughly deserved.

Stepping up in sales

Roma has also promoted three members of its sales and relationship teams:

- Alisha Chu becomes Regional Business Development Lead.

- Kerry Bradshaw becomes Internal Sales and Growth Lead.

- Claudine Reynolds becomes Relationship Manager Lead.

The three join existing Team Leads Paula Dowson and Daniel Hill. All five report to Head of Sales Sonia Mann and support key parts of Roma's sales operation, focusing on broker relationships and customer service.

Growing from within

Founder and Managing Director Scott Marshall said the company's success depends on committed people who share its goals and are ready to take on more as it grows. He said Doran had made a clear positive difference since joining. He added that the sales promotions reflect the strength of Roma's workforce and its commitment to helping staff progress as the business scales.

The promotions come during a busy period for the Manchester-based lender. Alongside its RomaFLOW bridging and RomaGROW development products, Roma has expanded into longer-term lending under its RomaPRO range. In September, it launched semi-commercial mortgages and completed its first £2.4m commercial mortgage.
